A unique encounter between the worlds of music and management, developed by INSEAD in collaboration with La Loge and led by Professor Ian Woodward.
During these sessions, experienced executives step onto the conductor’s podium and lead an orchestra. Through the immediate experience of conducting musicians, they explore different approaches to leadership, communication, listening, trust and decision-making.
The orchestra becomes a living laboratory: every gesture has an effect, leadership is instantly visible and communication must happen in real time. The sessions form part of a special INSEAD programme offered in Fontainebleau and Singapore, using orchestral practice as an unexpected and powerful way to reflect on management and collective performance.
